About Randori...
Consistent randori training helps to turn knowledge into ability. Over time, students will develop improved:
✅ Timing & reactions – learning when to move and how to respond under pressure
✅ Balance & body control – maintaining stability while moving and grappling
✅ Distance & positioning – understanding space, angles and leverage
✅ Confidence – becoming comfortable with live situations
✅ Decision-making – choosing the right technique in the moment
✅ Fitness & conditioning – improving stamina, strength and coordination
✅ Realistic self-defence skills – applying techniques against genuine resistance
Randori is one of the most valuable parts of Ju Jitsu training. It develops not just physical skill, but also mental composure, awareness and resilience. Students learn how to stay calm, think clearly and remain in control while under pressure.
For children, randori builds confidence, discipline and focus.
For adults, it sharpens technique, improves realism and enhances overall performance.
